About

Direct yet conceptual. Provocative and engaging. Design & illustration for brands, publications, and people.

I am a senior freelance graphic designer and illustrator living in Toronto with my cat Smokie. I studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in New Media and Film (I also took lots of drawing classes). I have also worked as a DJ in Toronto for the past 15 years.

I enjoy working in the food & beverage industry, supporting my peer’s amazing spaces and events. I like to make things that look worn by age, poorly printed, and reference classic “tried and true” design approaches. Grungy old hand painted type, sun-kissed vintage posters, and ink bleeds make me smile (crisp text and clean layouts are great too!) .

I like caring for my plants, cooking, listening to the Grateful Dead, and going for hikes. I also recently started playing (lots of) disc golf. I do a monthly radio show on ISO, you can listen to my old sets here.
